A very in-depth view into how racism was brought over to America by the first settlers, how international and national literature helped shaped racism, and how it was kept alive through different people, policies, and ways of thinking. I've learned more from this book about the history of America in general, than I ever did in school. I've also learned more about prominent Black Americans and pivotal moments in Black history. Every single American should be required to read this.
